Megan Gale

Gale who was 18 at the time had won an 18-year-old Perth model competition in her early teens. Gale won a modelling competition in Perth when she was of 18. After many years of the field, Gale became famous when she was selected to appear in an advertising campaign by Omnitel which is an Italian telecoms enterprise (now Vodafone Italy). They used her in advertisements from 2006 onwards, and was selected in 2003 by the Australian Tourist Commission as the "face" for Australia in Italy.' Gale appeared on the covers of Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. In addition, she was featured in Italian Maxim and Australian InStyle. Gale has worked with Italian designers like Gianfranco Fere, Genny as well as Gai Mattiolo and has been on the runways of Mariella Burani Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. Gale is a fan of a variety of Australian designers like Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnsonston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. The year 2006 was the last time she was the fashion commentator for the Australian TV awards known as the Logies. Gale declared in January 2008 that she was stepping down in fashion after fifteen successful years. Then, a couple of weeks later in the event of the launch of the David Jones winter collection in Sydney, Gale walked for the final time on the catwalk. The model wore the Wonder Woman costume she had been planning to wear in The Justice League of America film and was in the process of being made.
